Abstract:Charcoal prepared from Kail Sawdust (waste obtained from carpenter shop) has been used as adsorbent for the simultaneous removal of red RB (RRB) and yellow M4G (YMG) dyes from water. The interactive effect of both dyes is found as antagonistic. The experiments are performed on optimized operating parameters, which are based on individual dye adsorption.
