Simulation of Wind Pressure for Self-Stayed Rod Based on CFD

Abstract: Method of fluid dynamics numerical simulation and CFD related theory are discussed in the paper. The process of the solution and the influence factors of the numerical simulation are introduced relating with model of self-stayed rod. The wind pressure coefficient can be obtained from numerical wind-tunnel simulation of self-stayed rod in the turbulent flow wind. This research conducts the contrast of Load Code for the Design of Building Structures and results of numerical simulation.

“…In the numerical calculation theory of gas flow, the continuous field is discretized. To calculate the discrete equations and the distribution of discrete points, different assumptions for the dependent variables can require different discrete methods [1]. For example, the finite difference algorithm, finite element method, finite volume approach and boundary…”
