Simulation of Pressure Drop for Oil Flow Through Chokes

Abstract: The knowledge of the behavior of pressure, flow rates and flow patterns during displacement of the fluid from the wells to the production lines is critical for the oil industry. The choke appears in this context as a device that imposes a restriction on the flow line and it is generally located between tubing and the discharge line.
