Simulation of NO2 work function-based sensor signal on ZnO

Abstract: Simulation of sensor signal based on the ZnO work function for NO2 gas has been conducted. This research is aimed at approaching the experiment results of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas detection using the ZnO sensor. This study uses three reactions i.e., adsorption-desorption of O2 (oxygen), adsorption-desorption of NO2, and the reaction of O2 and NO2 on ZnO.
