Simulation of lossy multiconductor transmission lines and application of an algorithm to reduce crosstalk

Abstract: In a multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) of N+1 conductors it is possible to transmit N independent signals and the reason most applications use less signals is the huge crosstalk and return loss that arises when transmitting so many signals. In a previous work we developed an algorithm for transmitting the maximum number of possible signals without crosstalk or return loss, for lossless lines. The current work simulates and analyzes lossy MTL and tests the above algorithm on lossy lines.
