Abstract:Slub yarn is a popular yarn because of its distinctive appearance. In this paper, the simulation of the fiber arrangement in the slub strand is proposed. After twisting, the slub strand is converted into slub yarn. A cylinder with a large length–diameter ratio is used to simulate the fiber, and the random arrangement of the fibers forms the slub strand.
