Simulation of crack growth under mixed‐mode loading in 1D piezoelectric quasicrystals

Abstract: Lacking translational symmetry in particular directions, quasicrystals (QC) are a new class of materials besides crystals and amorphous solids, where 1D means the atomic arrangement is quasiperiodic in one direction.
