Simulation of Compressive Failure in Concrete by Focusing on Heterogeneity due to Coarse Aggregates

Abstract: To examine the geometrical effects of aggregates on fracture behavior in concrete, numerical experiments on compressive failure in concrete's meso-structures are carried out in this paper.
