Simulation and Paramatric Analysis of ABS for EV with Electric Brake

Abstract: A simulation model of EV with the software of AMESim was established and the ABS control method with four independent channel by electric brake was designed in Simulink with the fuzzy logic control. The simulation is carried on under the low tire-road friction coefficient. The simulation results show that, the co-simulation model and its control method is able to simulate the actual ABS braking process, ensure the wheel speed well follow the vehicle speed, improve the steerability and stability of the EV. Mode… Show more

“…Algorithms such as Kalman filter, Luenberger observer, Robust observer, Sliding-mode observer, fuzzy observer and so on have been wildly applied [5]. However, those algorithms focused on the traditional vehicles have a poor behavior on the real-time performance and the stability, which hardly satisfy the actual use [6]. The speed signals of the electric vehicle wheels are respectively obtained by the resolver sensor placed on the in-wheel motors, which have a higher sampling frequency and a better signal quality than the ones obtained on the traditional vehicles.…”
