Abstract: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease accounting for two-thirds of all dementia cases, and age is the strongest risk factor. Beyond the amyloid hypothesis, lipid dysregulation is now recognized as a core component of AD pathology.
