Silver tellurides (Ag(x)Te(y)) crystal structure, lattice parameters

Abstract: substance: silver tellurides (Ag x Te y ) property: crystal structure, lattice parameters Ag -Te phase diagram is shown on Fig. 1 [73G]. Besides Ag 2 Te, a second compound, near Ag 5 Te 3 , has a broad range of existence. Ag ≈1.9 Te is only stable at higher temperatures. Moreover AgTe occurs in nature (mineral empressite) and a metastable AgTe ≈3 phase has been obtained by fast quenching from the liquid.
