Silver nanoparticles potently inhibit ethylene action more than silver thiosulfate and promote microtuberization in potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cv. Spunta

Abstract: The present study aimed to investigate the effect of silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) as an anti-ethylene agent on in vitro microtuberization in potato cv. Spunta. The concentrations; 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 mg/l of Ag-NPs or silver thiosulfate (STS) were used to determine their influence on microtuberization.
