“…Roughening and fluorination of spacer not only increase the lifting voltage of the linear particles, but also weaken the motion range of the linear particles. It has already been verified that both methods increase the flashover voltage of spacers [14,15,27,29]. So considering the findings in this work, we believe that roughening and fluorination could be effective approaches to increase the stability of spacers.…”

“…It can be seen from Figure b that new EP characteristic absorption peaks appear after mixing M-BNNSs or 10 wt % BNNS with EP. The bands at 3421, 2830–3000, 1608, 1509, 1035, and 912 cm –1 correspond to the stretching vibration of −OH, the stretching vibration of C–H and C–H 2 , the absorption peak of CC on the benzene ring, the stretching vibration peak of benzene ring, C–O stretching vibration of ester bond, and the characteristic absorption peak of epoxy group, respectively. , The position of the two characteristic peaks of BNNS did not change after compounding EP, but the intensity enhanced with the increase of M-BNNS content.…”

“…The even distribution of the filler within the polymer matrix is a fundamental challenge in sample preparation. Previous literature has presented different methods for sample preparation [8,[16][17][18]. However, we have chosen the method that we believe to be the most suitable, ensuring the effective dispersion of the microfiller within the epoxy.…”
