Abstract:Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) is involved in inflammatory response. This study was done to explore the role of serum NLRP3 as a predictive biomarker of death after hemodialysis. In this prospective observational study of 331 patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, serum NLRP3 levels were measured.
