Sidi Ahmed's Epic "Tashuknama" Written in Turkic Language

 Works titled with the phrase “nama” is very popular in the literature of the medieval Turkic peoples. Garibnama, Nasikhatnama, Babyrnama, Mahabbatnama, Latafatnama, Tashuknama, Dahnama, etc. can be examples for the phenomenon. Although there are similarities between these works, the study examines some of the peculiarities and exceptions in the titles of these works.
 As a main research object, Sidi Ahmed's "Tashuknama", a valuable masterpiece of the nomadic nature and an integral part of world literature, was selected.
 The work was first introduced to the scientific community by the English scientist Charles Rieu. Scholars such as V. Bartold, A.N. Samoilovich, Aibek and P. Shamsiev, J. Ekman, S. Özkocher, T. Ganjevi, A.M. Shcherbak, E. Birnbaum, H. Mukhtorova, M. Zhamolova, K. Koktekin, A.G. Sertkaya and N. Rahmon studied it further too.
 In the main content of the article, the author analyzes the views and opinions of scholars, who has studied the epic "Tashuknama". Providing scientific evidence, the paper determines that "Tashuknama" is a work written in the Turkic language. The author tries to prove that in addition to the works that combined the word “nama” in the title, there were also works written in the genre of “nama” in the Middle Ages. Moreover, the article discusses the religious and mystical background of the ten letters of love, which are theoretically relevant today.
