Abstract:ABSTRACT
Works titled with the phrase “nama” is very popular in the literature of the medieval Turkic peoples. Garibnama, Nasikhatnama, Babyrnama, Mahabbatnama, Latafatnama, Tashuknama, Dahnama, etc. can be examples for the phenomenon. Although there are similarities between these works, the study examines some of the peculiarities and exceptions in the titles of these works.
