Sialadenitis as chickenpox complication in a 6-year-old girl

Abstract: Highlights In the 6.year old girl with chickenpox we diagnosed an typical complication in the shape of sialadenitis (especially submaxillitis). Within the last twenty years, only in one child the relationship between sialadenitis and varicella-zoster virus infection has been suggested. Our observation has important clinical significance.
