Abstract:Shunt nephritis is a rare complication of ventriculoatrial and ventriculoperitoneal shunt infection. The clinical manifestations are nonspecific and include asthenia, arthralgias, anorexia, weight loss, hematuria, proteinuria, and progressive renal impairment.
