Should venous doppler ultrasonography be routinely applied before lower extremity major orthopedic surgery?

Abstract: Background:Hip-knee arthroplasty and knee arthroscopy (KA) is frequently applied in the orthopaedic surgery. The approach does not exist related with the preoperative asymptomatic deep venous thrombosis (DVT).
