Short Communicational: Teaching acute respiratory infection using low-cost aids. An experience in Pondicherry, South India

Abstract: The topic of acute respiratory infections (ARI) was taught to two successive batches of medical students in their first clinical year. The low-cost aids in the form of slide set, tape recorder and video cassette were used. The knowledge and attitude of students was assessed using a pre-test and a post-test, which showed a statistically significant improvement.
