Short- and long-term outcomes after minimally invasive versus open spleen-saving distal pancreatectomies

Abstract: Introduction: This study aimed to compare the perioperative outcomes of patients who underwent minimally invasive spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy (MI-SPDP) versus open surgery SPDP (O-SPDP).
