Shock tunnel testing of a Mach 6 hypersonic waverider

Abstract: Summary.A waverider is a lifting body configuration whose upper surface is parallel to the free stream, and the lower surface aerodynamically so designed, that the resulting shock at the design Mach number, is always attached with the leading edge of the vehicle.
