Abstract: In the present work, we report a systematic theoretical study of the log ft values for the forbidden β − decay transitions in the 208Pb region. For this, we have considered 206Hg → 206Tl, 208Hg → 208Tl, 206Tl → 206Pb and 208Tl → 208Pb transitions.
