Abstract:An experimental research was developed to evaluate shear transfer in self-consolidating. Three concrete mixes were prepared, one conventional and two self-consolidating, differing on the proportion of the coarse and fine aggregate used. Nine push-off specimens, containing steel reinforcement passing through the shear plane, were tested, to evaluate the ultimate shear stress and shear plane displacements. Shear strength of self-consolidating concrete specimens were higher than conventionally vibrated concrete. … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
