Shear elastic waves in bi-material multi-layered waveguide

Abstract: This analytical study demonstrates shear elastic wave propagation in stratified waveguide with emphasis on wave localisation effects using the propagator matrix method. The stratified waveguide consists of two-phase piecewise homogeneous periodically arranged finite number sub-layers along waveguide thickness.
