Las propuestas innovadoras sobre estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje han permitido el avance de la educación buscando cambiar la clásica concepción de aprendizaje individual y competitivo por modelos como la enseñanza y aprendizaje colaborativos. Por tal motivo, para la validación de la plataforma AYLLU se desarrolló un entorno educativo que permite aplicar diferentes estrategias en las cuales los participantes de cada equipo asumen roles y responsabilidades que garantizan el éxito del aprendizaje. En el proyecto de investigación AYLLU se ha desarrollado una plataforma que proporciona mecanismos que faciliten la interacción entre las personas; en efecto, las personas son apoyadas por agentes de software que trabajan como mediadores y facilitadores de la colaboración. Por ello, y considerando las necesidades al realizar un proceso colaborativo, la plataforma AYLLU se focaliza en cubrir tres aspectos principales: la comunicación y cooperación entre personas, la diversidad y el contexto, y la gestión de los recursos compartidos. En un primer nivel, el modelo de agentes cooperativos asegura una comunicación estructurada y semántica en un marco en el cual los participantes tengan conciencia de grupo. En un segundo nivel, los componentes AES y MATEO proporcionan los mecanismos para personalizar, adaptarse al contexto y gestionar los grupos de trabajo, teniendo en cuenta las particularidades de los usuarios. En el tercer nivel, el gestor de recursos AYPUY administra el acceso y el almacenamiento de los recursos que comparten las personas en forma concurrente. Finalmente, los resultados obtenidos fueron satisfactorios: los procesos colaborativos se desarrollaron de manera fluida y efectiva.

We apply the concept of invisible labor, as developed by labor scholars over the last forty years, to data-intensive science. Drawing on a fifteen-year corpus of research into multiple domains of data-intensive science, we use a series of ethnographic vignettes to offer a snapshot of the varieties and valences of labor in data-intensive science. We conceptualize data-intensive science as an evolving field and set of practices and highlight parallels between the labor literature and Science and Technology Studies. Further, we note where data-intensive science intersects and overlaps with broader trends in the 21st century economy. In closing, we argue for further research that takes scientific work and labor as its starting point.

There has been a growing interest within CSCW community in understanding the characteristics of misinformation propagated through computational media, and the devising techniques to address the associated challenges. However, most work in this area has been concentrated on the cases in the western world leaving a major portion of this problem unaddressed that is situated in the Global South. This paper aims to broaden the scope of this discourse by focusing on this problem in the context of Bangladesh, a country in the Global South. The spread of misinformation on Facebook in Bangladesh, a country with a population of over 163 million, has resulted in chaos, hate attacks, and killings. By interviewing journalists, fact-checkers, in addition to surveying the general public, we analyzed the current state of verifying misinformation in Bangladesh. Our findings show that most people in the 'news audience' want the news media to verify the authenticity of online information that they see online. However, the newspaper journalists say that fact-checking online information is not a part of their job, and it is also beyond their capacity given the amount of information being published online every day. We further find that the voluntary fact-checkers in Bangladesh are not equipped with sufficient infrastructural support to fill in this gap. We show how our findings are connected to some of the core concerns of CSCW community around social media, collaboration, infrastructural politics, and information inequality. From our analysis, we also suggest several pathways to increase the impact of fact-checking efforts through collaboration, technology design, and infrastructure development.CCS Concepts: • Human-centered computing → Empirical studies in collaborative and social computing.
