Sharing economy in the smart city development

Abstract: The concept of the sharing economy developed in the last decade is vastly underestimated. The study aims to substantiate the potential of the sharing economy in the development of smart cities. Based on a bibliometric analysis of research publications, it is shown that the concepts of the sharing economy and smart cities intersect in such areas as sustainable development, digital technologies, and the development of public goods.
