Abstract:Bragg structures with distortion of periodicity are considered. Effects of scattering the wave beams falling at oblique angles are theoretically investigated. Methods of characteristic matrices and plane-wave decomposition are used for obtaining angular and spatial distribution of reflected and transmitted wave beams. Magnitudes and phases of scattered fields are analyzed. Phenomena of anomalous behavior of group shifts (decreasing and negative ones) are observed for Bragg structures with different type of per… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
