Abstract:Proteotoxic stress triggers transcriptional responses that allow cells to compensate for the accumulation of toxic misfolded proteins. Chromatin remodeling regulates gene expression in response to the accumulation of misfolded polyQ proteins associated with Huntington’s disease (HD).
