“…Our review of the literature suggests that a key overarching challenge in this area of research is agreeing on how to conceptualize and measure LGBQ+ identities among college students. Other scholars have identified similar problems in the literature for other topics of investigation relating to LGBQ+ experiences in other institutional contexts, such as workplace wage inequality and youth risk-taking behaviors (Cimpian, 2017;Denier & Waite, 2019).
