Sex differences in linear bone measurements occur following puberty but do not influence femoral or tibial torsion

Abstract: Torsional, angular, and linear measurements in a paediatric population are clinically important but not well defined and understood. Different methods of measurement and discrepancies between assessors leads to a lack of understanding of what should be defined as typical or atypical for the growing skeleton.
