“…To elucidate which risk or resilience factors have most prominent roles in depression and anxiety symptoms, we detected central and bridge factors in the network. Further, given gender is known to be a significant influencing factor underlying prevalence rates of depression and anxiety ( 21 , 37 ), we investigated potential gender differences in the overall network structure as well as the strength of associations among depression and anxiety symptoms and risk and resilience factors.
