Sewage reflects the distribution of human faecal Lachnospiraceae

Abstract: Summary Faecal pollution contains a rich and diverse community of bacteria derived from animals and humans, many of which might serve as alternatives to the traditional enterococci and Escherichia coli faecal indicators.
