Abstract:Niemann Pick disease type C (NPC) is an autosomal recessive neurodegenerative lysosomal disorder characterized by an accumulation of lipids in different organs. Clinical manifestations can start at any age and include hepatosplenomegaly, intellectual impairment, and cerebellar ataxia.
