Severe leptospirosis after rat bite: A case report

Abstract: A 43-year-old woman presented to an emergency department in Salvador, Brazil, with a twoday history of fever (39.5 o to 40.0˚C), chills, headache, arthralgia, myalgia, and loss of appetite in the setting of a recent rat bite.
