Severe cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's disease: Senile plaque formation in cortical areas

Abstract: The main objectives of this study were to analyze the distribution of senile plaques (SP) and neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) in different cortical areas of patients suffering from severe cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and to compare them with Alzheimer's disease (AD) cases.
