Severe acute haemolytic transfusion reaction secondary to a plasma incompatible group B platelet transfusion

Abstract: Objectives: To report a rare case of acute hemolytic transfusion reaction (AHTR) following an ABO plasma incompatible group B platelet transfusion.Background: AHTR is an uncommon, but potentially fatal event.
