“…Owing to the important wound complications following open surgery, less invasive techniques, such as percutaneous screw fixation, have been largely used over the last few years to stabilize the posterior pelvic ring and lumbo-sacral junction while reducing complications [44][45][46][47][48][49][50].…”

“…These modi cations produced a reduction of surgical exposure because the tendon to be prepared is much smaller, and a reduction of surgical times guaranteeing excellent results in terms of pain reduction, maintenance of strength and global function given that compared to a simple trapeziectomy, promoting rapid functional recovery, with excellent patient satisfaction. [12,13,27,28] In this work, we perform a comparison between trapeziectomy + LRTI/OLA (the APL subunit is looped around the FCR from palmar to dorsal at the bottom of the surgical eld and trapeziectomy + LRTI/OLI (the APL subunit is looped inside the FCR from palmar to dorsal at the bottom of the surgical eld). The risk of adhesion in both OLA and OLI LRTI is lowest than in other LRTI because incision and dissection is shorter performing a hemi-resection of APL and only one loop than in technique with double loop (Ceruso's technique).…”

“…In four out of the six CCH injection studies [ 26 , 36 , 38 , 39 ], patient satisfaction was measured using baseline and final follow-up Quick DASH, URAM, Hand 10, and EQ-VAS scores, consistently revealing increased patient satisfaction across all scores as outlined in Table 6 . In particular, the mean baseline Quick DASH score for 141 patients in three of the CCH injection studies was 20.91, with a mean final follow-up score of 8.36, signifying a significant improvement in satisfaction (39.9%), regardless of the follow-up duration.…”
