“…Preservice training may include how to work with GSD and multicultural populations, but there is little evidence to suggest that intersectional considerations and education are prevalent in these programs. This lack of knowledge calls for a clearer understanding of long-standing legal, political, and social barriers to supporting ERM GSD youth in school, including homophobia, racism, discriminatory legislation and school policies, and societal taboos about discussing sexuality and diverse sexual expression (Grozelle, 2017;Herbstrith & Busse, 2020).
