Serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin as a tumor marker for malignant mesothelioma

Abstract: Peritoneal mesotheliomas are aggressive tumors arising from the peritoneal mesothelium. Tumor markers are biochemical substances produced by tumor cells due to the effect of malignant process.
