Abstract:Background: Psoriasis vulgaris (PV) is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin lesion, which affects approximately 2.5% of the populations. It is featured by erythematous plaques covered with silvery scales, in particular over the extensor surfaces, scalp, and lumbosacral region.
