Abstract:Background: The ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is shaping the world on an unprecedented scale affecting more than 10.3 million individuals across the globe . Various studies have found that C- reactive protein (CRP ) levels could reflect disease severity and should be used as a key indicator for disease monitoring .
