Serotype Distribution of Human Respiratory Adenovirus Isolated in Gyeonggi Province

Abstract: Adenoviruses are an important cause of respiratory tract infections, particularly in infants, young children, and immuno-compromised patients. In this study, we investigated the characteristics of adenoviruses isolated from outpatients with acute respiratory illness in Gyeonggi province of South Korea during 2009-2011.
