“…Therefore, our study aimed at evaluating the long‐lasting effects of GBH or GLY on neurodevelopmental critical processes, such as proliferation and differentiation. The concentration used in our experiments (2.5 ppm) is in the range of residues found in several food types (0.001–18.53 ppm), 37,38 and cases of mild‐acute intoxication (11.48–61 ppm), 39–40 but higher than the one measured in umbilical cord serum (0.2–94.9 ppb) and the estimated for chronic ingestion 41,42 .
