Sequential Multi-Sensor JPDA for Target Tracking in Passive Multi-Static Radar With Range and Doppler Measurements

Abstract: Target tracking in passive multi-static radar (PMSR) with bistatic range and Doppler frequency measurements from multiple transmit-receive pairs is gaining increasing interest. For the data association problem in this scenario, the parallel architecture of a multi-sensor joint probabilistic data association (P-MSJPDA) filter has been significantly investigated. As an alternative architecture, the sequential MSJPDA (S-MSJPDA) is rarely discussed in PMSR. In this paper, we evaluate the behaviors of S-MSJPDA in P… Show more

“…The proposed H-infinity filter and Fuzzy H-infinity filter is developed using Matlab. Performance of H-infinity filter and Fuzzy H-infinity filter is compared with existing filter method [9] for maneuvering target tracking in wireless sensor network. The sensor network size is fixed with 1000m*1000m with 100 sensor nodes.…”

“…The significant result attained is due to adoption of cluster based wireless senor network for target tracking. The overall result attained shows the proposed target tracking method is robust in terms of RMSE and energy dissipation minimization considering varied scan size when compared with existing method [1], [9].…”

“…Moreover, A Probabilistic Data Association-Feedback Particle Filter (PDA-FPF) for Multiple Target Tracking Applications is used in [13]. For multi Target tracking in passive multi-static radar system, the sequential of a multi-sensor joint probabilistic data association (S-MSJPDA) [14] has great potentials compared to the parallel architecture of a multi-sensor joint probabilistic data association (P-MSJPDA).…”
