A field experiment was conducted during kharif, 2019 at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The experiment done with twelve treatments and three replications. The study was taken to find out which herbicide mixture most effective in controlling of weeds leads to maximum yields with higher benefit cost ratio. The results revealed that, application of herbicide mixture florpyrauxifen-benzyl + cyhalofop-butyl 10% EC 150 g/ha PoE fb hand weeding at 40 days after transplanting (DAT) gave higher yields and net returns with high benefit cost ratio (B: C) which was statistically on par with minimum competitive plot. Unweeded plot yield was deviated about 48 % compare to florpyrauxifen-benzyl + cyhalofop-butyl 10% EC 150 g/ha PoE fb hand weeding at 40 days after transplanting.

A field experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2019 at Agricultural Research Station, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad to study the effect of integrated weed management practices on weed density, weed dry weight, yield and economics of semidry rice. Among all the treatments pyrazosulfuron ethyl @ 20 g a.i ha-1 fb chlorimuron ethyl + metsulfuron methyl @ 4 g a.i ha-1 + fenoxaprop-p-ethyl @ 60 g a.i ha-1 fb mechanical weeding at 50 DAS recorded significantly lower weed density, weed dry weight with highest weed control efficiency. Grain yield and B:C ratio were also recorded highest from the same treatment in semidry rice system of cultivation. This treatment was statistically comparable with hand weeding plot.

A field experiment was conducted at Rice Research Centre, Agriculture Research Institute, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad during kharif, (2022) to assess the post emergence herbicide efficacy for drone spraying in transplanted rice (Oryza sativa L.). The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with 7 treatments and replicated thrice. Results revealed that among different doses of herbicidal treatments, post emergence application of penoxsulam 1.02% + cyhalofop-butyl 5.1% OD @ 180 g a.i ha-1using drone recorded highest number of tillers at harvest, plant height at harvest, number of panicles at harvest, grain yield and low weed dry matter at 60 DAT. It was statistically on par with application of penoxsulam 1.02% + cyhalofop-butyl 5.1% OD @ 120 g a.i ha-1 using knapsack sprayer, application of penoxsulam 1.02% + cyhalofop-butyl 5.1% OD @ 150 g a.i ha-1 using drone, and application of penoxsulam 1.02% + cyhalofop-butyl 5.1% OD @ 120 g a.i ha-1 using drone followed by application of penoxsulam 1.02% + cyhalofop-butyl 5.1% OD @ 90 g a.i ha-1 using drone followed by unweeded control.
