This paper presents a sensor less control technique of a directly driven wind synchronous generator. This approach is based on the adaptive sliding mode flux observer and on the adaptive speed estimator. Two sensorless control strategies are applied to the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG): in the first step, we have considered the vector (VC) strategy and in the second one, we have applied the sliding mode control (SMC) strategy. Simulation results investigate good performances of both proposed non linear approaches.
