Sensitizer-free photochemical regeneration of benzimidazoline organohydride

Abstract: Organohydrides are an important class of organic compounds that can provide hydride anions for chemical and biochemical reactions, as demonstrated by reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide serving as an important natural redox cofactor.
