Abstract: The potential of on-column preconcentration in capillary electrochromatography (CEC) to improve the detection limitwas investigatd. Two test mixtures containing a pharmaceutically relevant steroid (Desogestrel or Tibolon) together with several structurally related compounds were used for evaluation.
