Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Large prospective studies must be performed to measure the true effect of clopidogrel (Plavix) or aspirin (ASA) in prevention of vascular disease. An easy and accurate point of service instrument will facilitate these studies and confirm effectiveness and compliance with medications.
