Sensitivity Analysis of Tangential Digging Forces of the Bucket Wheel Excavator SCHRS 1320 for Different Terraces

Abstract: Abstract. Researches in the field of economy of control of mining processes of minerals are continually met with a number of unsolved and newly arising problems. New deposits of brown coal are located at greater depths than before and are more difficult to mine. Problems in the field of rock mining stem from the greater diversity of rocks in mining, and it results in more difficult mining conditions. On the other hand, even greater demands are made to decrease the economic demand of mining. Current research is… Show more

“…Although the current engineering codes and national standards used in calculations ignore the dynamic character of BWE external loads, the investigations of BWE dynamics are extremely important [6]. The aforementioned studies include problems of determining excitation induced by resistance-toexcavation [4,7,10], problems of determination and measurement of natural frequencies of BWEs' structures as well as their vibrations during mining process [8,9,[12][13][14][15][21][22][23]. a r c h i v e s o f c i v i l a n d m e c h a n i c a l e n g i n e e r i n g x x x ( 2 0 1 5 ) x x x -x x x a r t i c l e i n f o This paper examines influence of constructive parameters on response of BWE SchRs 1760 superstructure ( Fig.…”

“…The influence of change of the vertical displacement of top joint on deformed shapes of the von Mises planar truss is analyzed. The paper links up with studies of stability problems of steel structures [8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]. …”

“…Bucket wheel excavators (BWE) are exposed to environmental impacts, predominantly those of the excavated soil [1][2][3][4][5]. Even in regular exploitation conditions, the outstandingly dynamic and stochastic character of the loads caused by soil impacts provides fertile ground for the occurrence of failures of structures or substructures [6][7][8][9][10][11][12] as well as mechanism parts [13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21].…”
